The newly developed Homestead Men's Club, offering a place for golfers of all abilities, age, and handicaps to play and compete! The Homestead Men's Club is a competitive, amateur golf league beginning Tuesday, June 15th and will run through the end of September. We play weekly 9-hole events on Tuesdays. Events typically have a gross and net format and include individual stroke play, Stableford, and Chicago. We usually compete in two flights, which are based on the UGA handicap system. Membership dues are paid once at the start of the year. We assess a fee for weekly events. All fees are distributed to event winners each week. In addition to prizes for placing in events, we also run an ongoing skins competition each week in each flight. Skins are also funded through the weekly fee. All winnings are distributed as merchandise credit good at the Homestead golf shop.
Membership Information:
- Yearly dues are $35.00
- $7.00 entry fee for each 9-hole event. ($5 for daily game and $2 for skins/deuces).
- We pay Net & Gross winners in most weekday events. We use Golf Genius Software and the World Golf Handicap. If you have not renewed or established your UGA handicap, please do so before playing in a league round.
- We play a variety of different formats. Net & Gross, Stableford, Chicago as well as a weekly skins or deuces pot.
- Weekly results are posted at www.hgcmen21.golfgenius.com.
- Discounts on select pro-shop merchandise.
